Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX

Hoyt designed their most stable platform to date in the Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX. By lengthening the riser 2 1/2 inches on their 2020 target bow, Hoyt brings even more accuracy into range. Follow along to learn more how Hoyt redesigned and re-engineered their high performance target rig.

By increasing the riser length, the center of mass was lowered creating a greater moment of inertia. These advances lead to more effective aiming and a rock solid hold at full draw.

Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX

The Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX features an adjustable cable guard bar. Archers can adjust the cable guard to 0, 3, 6 or 9 degree angles to decrease the amount torque. This results in more down range accuracy shot after shot.

The high performance parallel target limb system is anchored in place by the Invicta Zero Tolerance Pocket. This new limb system, combined with the increased riser length has led to significant decreases in vibration. The end result is the smoothest and quietest target bow from Hoyt Archery to date.

Hoyt’s exclusive Stealth Shot Technology has reduced noise and vibration by 50% on the Invicta 37 SVX – all while being significantly faster than previous model SVX cam bows.

SVX Cam

The Hoyt SVX Cam generates IBO speeds of 330 feet per second. The SVX cam comes with a 65% fixed letoff resulting in an ultra firm back wall.

The valley on the SVX cam is shorter than the DCX cam. This is the other cam option available on the Invicta 37. Target archers will appreciate the short valley of the SVX to stay ultra focused and engaged at full draw. Don’t get lax on your shot sequence with the SVX, a little creep and it may take off.

Like all Hoyt bows, the numbered cams are based on your draw length. The Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX uses these four cams based on your draw length:

#1 cam (23.5″ – 25.5″)
#2 cam (26″ – 27″)
#3 cam (27.5″ – 28.5″)
#4 cam (29″-30″)

Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX Overall Impressions

This 2020 target bow is available in a number of different finish options. Shooters can choose from Jet Black, Charger Blue, Podium Red, White Ice, slate, Buckskin Target or Wilderness Target. While you could hunt with the Invicta 37, there are no camo options since that was not its intended purpose.

Aside from sticker shock, the Hoyt Invicta 37 SVX is an outstanding bow. The $1899 MSRP may be a tough pill to swallow for an aluminum riser bow. Typically, in that price range you are buying carbon bows. But what you get for that price is a well developed target bow packed with tons of technology, all backed by a major bow manufacturer. If you can’t put a price tag on winning, this bow may give you the edge you need to reach the podium.
